We were delighted to be amongst the emerging startups showcasing at IOT London's City Hall Showcase, sponsored by CapGemini. It was a great evening to meet new people and talk about using digital technology for behaviour change.
We are thrilled to have been granted a 2016 Nominet Trust Social Tech Seed Fund grant to progress our first product in development, OliTool™, an Internet of Things mHealth system that harnesses haptic technology to support psychological and physiological wellbeing.
We faced stiff competition from nearly 300 entries and are very excited to have been one of the nine projects chosen for this year's cohort. We will be moving forward with the development work for OliTool™, which includes trialling at Exeter University, under the supervision of Professor Ed Watkins. We will keep you posted as we progress!
We were thrilled to be awarded the Collaboration Prize along with Thales at the Cambridge Wireless Innovation Showcase, Future of Wireless International Conference, 21 - 22 June 2016. Thales was presenting their pilot project measuring biometrics for stress in transport. By combining their data with our bookmarks we provided a wholistic view of an individual's stress or anxiety levels in a transport environment, catching the Thales physiological data and thanks to OliTool's bookmarks, also linking the person's cognitive awareness and feelings about stress.
All in all we had a great day. Excited to have the opportunity to showcase OliTool and meet lots of fascinating people interested in what we had to demonstrate. And of course a fabulous way to close the day with our first major Award.
All proceeding well in preparations for Cambridge Wireless Innovation Showcase at Future of Wireless International Conference. Collaboration with Thales on Stress Management coming along great.
We were excited to learn that we have been accepted as one of twenty companies to participate in the Cambridge Wireless Innovation Showcase. The Showcase is a partnership between Cambridge Wireless, the Knowledge Transfer Network and Intel and is supported by Cisco, Iotic Labs, MediaTek and uBlox. The hackcelerator leading up to the June 22 Showcase event at the Future of Wireless International Conference will give teams the opportunity to work with the participating companies to refine their IoT ideas, access new hardware solutions and make new business connections.
